Announcement about the Douar Shems'y Donation campaign

October 2024, Kiwi Collecte supported the Association Marocaine pour les Enfants en Situation Précaire (AMESIP), in its appeal for public generosity to finance the upkeep and sustainability of “Douar Shems'y”, a village built to accommodate 144 children from the town of Amizmiz in Al Haouz, victims of the September 2023 earthquake.

AMESIP is an association recognized as being in the public interest, and has received specific authorization from the General Secretariat of the Government to carry out this donation campaign.

Within this framework, and on the basis of these authorizations, AMESIP called on the services of Kiwi Collecte for the communication aspects, the promotion of the campaign on the website and the receipt of payments, in order to make this campaign known to as many people as possible and to make the most of a simple online participation experience.

Kiwi Collecte is a collaborative financing platform approved by Bank Al Maghrib since March 20, 2024 (with publication in Bulletin Officiel 7341 dated 07/10/2024). The platform is currently finalizing the implementation of the regulatory requirements imposed on it in order to be able to officially open the project reception module, publish several campaigns and manage financial flows according to the rules and commitments of its approval.

Once this module is open, Kiwi Collecte will be able to study projects submitted by individuals or legal entities, with no need for these applicants to hold a specific authorization.

A communication campaign will be launched in the coming weeks to announce the opening of the Kiwi Collecte site to all new projects - many of which have already contacted us - who would like to submit their project for a possible crowdfunding campaign.
