Kiwi LAB : shaping society

Prior to the launch of Kiwi Collecte as a licensed platform, its founders - Sarah Jaidi and Othmane Lamrini - have been working since 2021 to bring about the emergence of a Moroccan crowdfunding ecosystem. This strategic activism has helped initiate a dialogue with regulators, align stakeholders and pave the way for a new model of citizen contribution.

Today, while Kiwi Collecte focuses on its primary mission - helping project leaders mobilize their communities and the general public to finance their initiatives - Kiwi LAB is taking over to delve deeper into the ecosystemic dimension. Kiwi LAB is a sister activity of Kiwi Collecte, born of the same commitment, which pursues a complementary mission in supporting and structuring the citizen financing ecosystem.

Kiwi LAB represents a “related activity” of consulting and support within the meaning of Law 15-18 on collaborative financing.

Kiwi LAB is involved in both strategic and operational areas: consulting, structuring impact programs, public policy development, applied research, ecosystem management and expertise transfer. We support institutions, local authorities, companies, universities and NGOs wishing to develop projects linked to the empowerment of initiative holders, civic engagement and social innovation.

Kiwi LAB and Kiwi Collecte form a complementary pair, a link between concrete projects and systemic vision. This constant link between the field and strategy enables Kiwi LAB to propose solutions adapted to local issues, to strengthen civil society, the social economy and collective action.

Kiwi LAB: supporting committed players to amplify citizen dynamics. A single goal: to create society.
