🚀 NASA Space Apps Challenge Meknès 2026

For the first time, Meknès will host the NASA Space Apps Challenge, an international hackathon that brings together tech enthusiasts, students, engineers, developers, scientists, and innovators around real-world challenges proposed by NASA and its partners.

📍 Meknès, Morocco
📅 November 14–15, 2026
👥 60+ participants

Over the weekend, participants will form teams, explore open data, work with mentors, and build prototypes addressing challenges related to space, Earth, climate, data, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.

This first edition is organized locally with the support of the student community, in collaboration with ENSAM Club Space.

🎯 Why this fundraiser?

Hosting a hackathon of this scale requires resources to give participants a quality experience: catering, connectivity, equipment and logistics, communication, prizes, and support for mentors and jurors.

Our goal is to rally the community around this first edition and enable as many young talents as possible to take part under good conditions.

Every contribution, whatever its size, brings us closer to that goal.

🌍 Why contribute?

Your support directly helps to:

🎓 give young talents a setting to learn and develop their skills;
💡 encourage innovation and experimentation;
🛰️ introduce people to the applications of space technologies and data;
🤝 create connections between students, experts, companies, and innovators;
🇲🇦 contribute to the growth of Morocco’s tech ecosystem.

Together, let’s make the first NASA Space Apps Challenge in Meknès a true meeting point between local talent and global innovation.

🚀 Think Local. Impact Global.
