I am reaching out to ask for your support for my mother, Fatima Azzouzi, who has been suffering from a serious and painful spinal condition for a long time.

After nearly two and a half years of consultations, medical appointments, examinations, and visits to different doctors, we finally found a specialist who was able to identify the problem affecting her spine and determine the treatment she needed.

Her MRI revealed degenerative lumbar disc disease affecting the L2-L3 and L4-L5 levels, with compression of the spinal nerve roots, as well as a suspected migrated disc fragment at the L4 level. This condition was causing her significant pain and neurological problems and required surgical treatment.

Following her diagnosis and MRI, my mother urgently underwent spinal surgery on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Clinique Cheikh Saadi in Agadir.

The surgery itself has a cost of 20,000 MAD. Thankfully, we will only have to pay part of this amount, but the medical expenses surrounding the surgery have already placed a very heavy financial burden on our family.

So far, we have spent more than 13,000 MAD, not including the MRI, on medication, medical tests, doctors' fees, consultations, and other necessary medical expenses. Much of this money was borrowed, leaving our family with significant debts.

My mother has now completed her first days of recovery after the operation, but her treatment is not over. She needs continued physical rehabilitation and approximately 30 physiotherapy sessions to help her recover, regain her strength, and improve her mobility.

At this stage, we are hoping to raise 10,000 MAD to help us repay part of the debts we have accumulated during these difficult two and a half years and, most importantly, to continue paying for my mother's rehabilitation and medical care.

We never imagined that our family would have to ask for help like this, but after everything we have been through, we are reaching out with humility and hope.
